How Do I Add The
Plymouth
Ring
HTML Code To My Page/Site? - The ring HTML navigation
code works by requiring you to place the exact html code to handle
ring navigation requests for YOUR site. To install the ring HTML
code you need to copy and paste the ring html provided by the ring
upon signup EXACTLY as it appears somewhere on the page you
registered with the ring. Be sure NOT to alter anything at all, and
try not to insert any line breaks in the middle of words, urls, etc.
this will break the HTML code. You simply want to copy (CTL-C after
highlighting all the ring code) the HTML code from our system into
the html file that is your web page. (CTL-V "pastes" what you have
previously copied). You can type the code in by hand if you prefer.
Just be careful not to change anything.
Certain text editors and "Page Builder" programs offered by some
ISPs (The company hosting your page) can alter the html as you paste
it if you are not careful. Be sure to examine the source of your
page to be certain it appears exactly as it does in the text box.
The ring HTML will always appear on your page whether your site
has been approved by support or not. However you will not be
connected to the ring database until ring support visits your site
and verifies the ring HTML code & graphic is installed correctly.

| How Do I Add The Required
Plymouth
Ring Link To My Page/Site? -
All members are required to have a reciprocal link back to the
Plymouth Ring. Using the HTML navigation code adds the required
link. Some web hosting services no longer allow HTML code to added
to pages hosted on their servers, this includes most free services.
If you are unable to add the Plymouth Ring HTML Code to your
site, we offer the member gateway option. This option only requires
a standard text or graphic link back to the ring. Your Plymouth
Ring HTML code will be added to a members page housed on the
Plymouth Ring server. Your member page then points to your site,
thus not breaking the ring for surfers. For more information on
adding the required link
