1. Adult Content Rule The Plymouth Ring is a family safe surfing zone. We do not allow sites with offensive language, violent pictures or text, sexually explicit photos, graphics and or text. This includes your links, Message Boards anything on or linked out of your web site. Also excluded are offensive sites with racial, pro or anti religious sites, or sites spewing other propaganda that we feel is not appropriate for all age viewers. If your site contains this type of adult content or links your application will not be processed! The Plymouth Ring does not want to censor anyone's site or change anyone's creative format! Your application to the ring is your choice. The Plymouth Ring reserves the right to refuse acceptance to any applicant for any reason. Members found with adult content after there site has been approved will be immediately removed from the ring without warning. "Adult Content" is widely open for interpretation. Just remember it is the ringmasters interpretation that counts. 2. Plymouth Ring Content Rule. Your site must be Plymouth related! The ringmaster strictly enforces the "Plymouth Content" rule. This means that the The Plymouth Ring will only accept Plymouth Websites. Your site must contain adequate Plymouth content to satisfy surfers. General automotive sites are not accepted unless your site contains a seperate section on Plymouth. The ringmaster strictly enforces the "Plymouth Content" rule. 3. One Application Per Web Site Rule. The Plymouth Ring will only allow ONE application (Site Identification Number) per web site. There is No Limit on the number of web pages you can place your ring graphics/links on, as long as they contain the same "site id number" in their HTML code. The only exceptions to this rule that the ringmaster will ever consider granting is when someone has a personal page, and is also the "webmaster" for their club (If the club is clearly a separate entity/website). But this would have to be pre-approved by the ringmaster before applying for more than one site identification number. 4. Commercial Web Site Rule The Plymouth Ring does not accept commercial companies as ring members. The Plymouth Ring was built to promote personal Plymouth related web sites providing information about Plymouth vehicles. We do offer an exclusive part's & services connection listing to commercial sites offering parts & services to the Plymouth community. If your site is a business site you must apply for the part's & services connection. 5. Selling Automobiles/Parts On Your Site Rule. The Plymouth Ring views any site that is "SELLING" something (Automobiles and/or Parts included) the SAME as "Commercial" Sites. It does not matter if this is just a personal page with one or two cars; you are SELLING, therefore will be treated the same, and subject to the same rules, as commercial sites. These type of sites are unacceptable and not permitted. Selling an occasional part from your Plymouth is okay as long as is occasional and not done to supplement your income. There are no exceptions to this rule. 6. The Plymouth Ring HTML Code & Graphic Rule. All members are required to add the ring HTML code & Graphic. It must be added to your page within 5 days after submitting your application. The ring grapic & HTML code must be added before your site can be added to the ring listings & search engine. The ring HTML code & graphic is what connects your site to The Plymouth Ring database. You are not permitted to change or modify the ring graphic or HTML code. The ring uses a automated system to check the code and if your code is wrong or has been modified will automatically remove your site from the ring. Removal or modification of The Plymouth Ring graphic & HTML code is grounds for your site to be removed from the ring. 7. URL ( Address Rule ). You must have the ring code & graphics on the same page URL (address) as your link is pointing, that way the visitor will see the ring, and not have to hunt for it. If you have the images located on a "ring/Link Page", then that is the URL you must use. Not your home page address! There are no exceptions to this rule. 8. Under Construction Rule. To be considered for membership in The Plymouth Ring your site must have been online for at least 5 days and not Under Construction. While we understand web pages are in a constant state of construction your site must have adequate Plymouth Content (See Plymouth Content Rule...) on your page BEFORE applying for acceptance! This is to prevent The Plymouth Ring from becoming a ring made up of only "one-pagers" with "under construction" plastered all over them. 9. Copy-Righted Web Page/Content Rule The Plymouth Ring will not be placed in the middle of any copyright disputes! We have no way of knowing if something actually belongs to you, or if you did or did not give permission (either explicit or implied) to someone else to use your content/work. If you find that someone "stole" or "borrowed" something from you..please leave The Plymouth Ring of it! We will not get involved in anything that may cause The Plymouth Ring legal problems. We spend Hours each week keeping up the ring because we Love Plymouth vehicles! If we do hear grumbling about "borrowed content" we do reserve the right to terminate both sites! Rather than get in the middle of it. However, we also reserve the right to do nothing! There are no exceptions to this rule. The Plymouth Ring Reserves The Right to deny application for, or Terminate any site from the Ring, for any reason, at ANY time, WITHOUT notice.
